Like many of the ancient cottages in Lavenham, the upper story is built into the eaves. A narrow staircase takes you upstairs to the two bedrooms and shower room.
Bedroom one is a large, east-facing room that manages to remain cool even on the warmest summer nights. It has a king size bed with a comfortable but firm mattress, four generously sized feather pillows and deliciously soft cotton bedding.
Bedroom two is the smaller and sunnier of the two rooms. Although the bed is an ordinary double, it is ideal for overnight guests or as a welcome sanctuary if one’s partner happens to be snoring particularly badly!
When it comes to beds, we are exceptionally fussy: you can be 100% sure that our beds and bedding are of the highest quality.
Both rooms benefit from good bedside lamps for reading and are served by an adjacent shower room which overlooks the market square and the guildhall.
There are fresh, fluffy towels and extra towels and loo rolls are always available and within easy reach on the small landing.
