The entrance to Market Keepers Cottage is through a wrought iron gate tucked away in an ivy-covered wall which opens into a sunny, secluded garden.
The front door opens into a tiny entrance hall which in turn leads straight into the dining/book room on one side and the sitting room on the other.
The sitting room overlooks the garden. It has a traditional Suffolk brick floor, comfortable furniture, and a brick fireplace which is home to a clearview log burning stove. There are plenty of additional seasoned logs stored in the rear courtyard.
You will find a television, DVD player, and some DVDs for your entertainment. And do please help yourself to a glass of whisky from the complimentary decanter.
The sitting room leads into an internal hall with a small downstairs cloakroom and a staircase to the upper floor.
On the other side of the entrance hall, you walk into the dining/book room. Again, this room has a brick floor and overlooks the garden.
The kitchen overlooks Lavenham’s famous Guildhall. There is a gaggenau gas hob, electric eye-level combi-oven, fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, and access to a sunny and secluded walled courtyard.
